Since 2000, Kansas City retailer Debbie Dusenberry has established her store, Curious Sofa, among the top small retailers in the US. Customers from across the country have made their way to her store to attend events and see the latest in her distinctive shop style. Known for her inspirational displays and unorthodox retail methods, Debbie's website (curioussofa.com) and blogs are among fan favorites for artistic inspiration (curioussofa.blogspot.com) and business advice (shopowner.blogspot.com). Debbie's talents and influence aren't going unnoticed. National magazines and trade publications have featured her store and home since 2001. Last year she was asked to join the national retail advisory board for the Gift and Home Trade Association.
